So we are now in 2021 and it’s time to look back before you can look forward! First I look at what I liked and what I didn’t
Easy, I will try not to repeat what I didn’t like and work on my likes and possible new things to try out. What‘s the worst that can happen? I might not like it and I might feel like I hit a wall. It is in that exact moment new opportunities arise.

I didn’t like feeling unfit and certain changes to my waist. So this year I am going to invest further in my health. Some of it comes to a cost but it’s well worth it.
For focussed training, I have personal training sessions every week. Being in lockdown has not changed this, it’s just done via FaceTime instead of face-to-face AND I can tell you that it doesn’t get any easier!
Outdoor activities are already well covered with several walks every day in any weather condition with Ruby the dog, whether in sun, rain, hail, snow, wind etc. It’s all about layering up to keep your feet and head warm.

What I need to work on is my flexibility. I did think Yoga would be good, but have decided that Pilates probably fits with me better. I like the idea of working on what they call your Power House, your core muscles. By using small movements and a flow of movements, sounds more appealing to me! This doesn’t necessarily need to be a costly affair. A bit of internet research and a quick online diploma course is a good start. Lockdown has definitely encouraged me to get on with this.
